The aluminum rings in this bracelet are cut with a saw, and I wove each into place individually. A saw-cut ring has flat ends and closes very neatly, which minimizes catching your jewelry on things and makes jewelry a bit more sturdy.

- Closes with an aluminum hook clasp
- Aluminum is very lightweight
- The rings are anodized: they are chemically and electrically treated, then dyed. This process forms a colored coating that is fairly sturdy, but can be chipped or worn off if treated roughly.
